The North Face Homestead Collection


2017/2018




The work for Homestead focused around concepting and designing a collection of prints and graphic treatments aimed at more youthful and emerging outdoor consumer.

Tents, cooler bags, picnic shelters, daypacks, sleeping bags and other accessories all needed to feature artwork that evoked a sense of play and levity while still feeling on brand. I worked in lockstep the the equipment team’s designers, pms and development teams to push scale and color, play with outdoor themes new and old and engineer the prints to execute well across all the pieces in the collection. We subverted traditional lodge prints, played with cartography concepts and turned watercolor shapes of continents and countries into a global camoflage. It was important to offer a spectrum of choices to cover tastes and gender, deliver something unexpected and keep it fun.
